Biography: Autumn Vann is a Texas-based, contemporary artist. The subjects of the artist’s work are rather unrehearsed, encouraging the freedom of play and exploration in her artmaking. The artwork is complemented by thick, gestural brushstrokes and imaginative scenes plucked from everyday life.
Artist Statement: “I aim to create art that invokes the views to embrace unconventional ideas with use of color, mixed media, and illustrative ideas combined with painting.
