Museum Family Days

The Pearl offers free Family Days with hands-on art projects, artist demonstrations, performances, and more. Projects are designed for ages 5 and up, and can be enjoyed by both children and adults! The featured art projects are inspired by current exhibitions, seasonal holidays, or other concurrent events.

Family Days are typically held on a Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm, but may vary depending on other events happening at the museum. Please check our calendar below for upcoming dates. Participants are welcome to drop in at any time between the posted Family Day hours. No registration is required.

Earth Day Celebration, Museum Family Day

Join us at The Pearl for an Earth Day Celebration! Fill your day with fun activities and educational experiences for the whole family. Explore our current exhibits, create Earth Day themed crafts, watch live performances and demonstrations and learn about the importance of protecting our planet. The museum will be giving away 50 chromebooks to families on a first come first serve basis! Please, bring your Harris County Library card and proof of free and reduced lunch to receive a chromebook.

Please note that while attendance is free, any donations received go towards future community programs. Kindly consider a donation ticket to help us continue to provide free events like this for our community!
