African Gold and Metal Worked Now Open
The Pearl is proud to present African Gold from the Glassell Collection: Selections from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston now on display in the Main Gallery and Metal Worked featuring the Houston Area Blacksmiths Association and the Houston Metal Arts Guild in the Rebecca Cole Gallery. Blacksmithing Family DaySaturday, September 13, 10am-5pm Blacksmithing demonstration by the Houston Area Blacksmiths Association in the museum parking lot from 10am-4pm. Art Workshop for Teens: Grades 7-12Using Gold Leaf Saturday, September 27, 9am-12pm Learn how to incorporate gold leaf into your paintings.
