All classes are limited in size and offered in a socially distanced setting.

​If you are looking for an art class with less of a time commitment check out our one day, art class workshops! Workshops are held on Saturdays.

Spring 2024 Adult Art Class Registration Now Open!

Session 2: March 18th Through May 3rd, 7 Weeks

Adult Watercolor Pets, Evening

Tuesdays, 6:15pm-8:15pm

Dates: 03/19/24-04/30/24, 7 Weeks
Instructor: Billie Scalisi
Join instructor Billie Scalisi to learn how to create watercolor pet portraits. Students will progress through specific studies of dog features, learn proportion and finally how to capture the likeness of their subject matter.
Students will advance from small watercolor studies to larger final pieces during this 7 week course. Each week will focus on new techniques to advance their comfortability with using watercolor for portraiture. This class is open to beginners and intermediate students.

Adult Ceramics Handbuilding II

Wednesdays, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Instructor: Anna Ovsyannikova
Dates: 03/20/24-05/01/24

Description:
Designed for both, first-time and experienced students, this class offers instructions in different hand-building techniques, surface design,and sculpting as well as various ways of decorating pieces with under-glaze paints.
During the course, depending on the student’s familiarity with clay the instructor will teach how to advance from beginning ceramic ware to your own creative designs and/or abstract pieces.

The Art Of Making II, Adult Sketchbooks

Thursdays, 1:30pm-3:30pm
Dates: 03/21/24-05/02/24, 7 Weeks
Instructor: Marilyn Walter

Description:
Come and discover the magic of developing and incorporating a sketchbook/workbook into your creative process. A sketchbook is a personal space where artists explore various media and ideas giving insight into one’s thought process when developing new work. A place for note taking, mark making, photographs, color combinations where you can visualize how your ideas are progressing, what new connections are occurring are all present in your sketchbook to continually refer to. This class will be a combination of individual instructor attention and group participation as we start and experiment with our sketchbooks. You do not have to have any art experience to work in a sketchbook! All levels are welcome.

Adult Acrylic Cityscapes

 

Thursdays 6:00pm-8:00pm
Dates: 03/21/24-05/02/24, 7 Weeks
Instructor: Hannah Bladh

Description:
​This class will introduce students to the basics of acrylic cityscapes. Students will learn how to mix colors, blending techniques, and how to build value and dimension. Students will also learn compositional techniques to create linear and atmospheric perspective in your cityscape. No previous experience with acrylic is necessary. This course is open to beginners and intermediate painters.
