Ezra Tucker is an acclaimed wildlife artist with more recent focus on the historic Black experience in the American West. Often applauded for his attention to detail and knowledge of his subjects, Ezra is a curious student of science and history who finds inspiration in the beauty of nature.

Houston native Tramaine Townsend is a versatile visual artist with recent works capturing the history and legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls.
Encounter two distinct yet complementary worlds, united by a shared reverence for history, nature, and the untold stories of Black identity in America. The Art of Ezra Tucker unfolds on a grand scale, with vibrant paintings that showcase Tucker’s acclaimed depictions of wildlife and his recent focus on Black cowboys in the West. In the Rebecca Cole Gallery, immerse yourself in the legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls in Texas through the commanding large-scale photographs and cinematic storytelling of Heard by Tramaine Townsend.
