All classes are limited in size and offered in a socially distanced setting.

You’re busy with work and life demands, so fitting in an art class might be challenging. But, nurturing your creative side is essential to your well-being – not to mention lots of fun!

​If you are looking for an art class with less of a time commitment check out our one day, art class workshops! Workshops are held on Saturdays.

Adult Watercolor Floral Design

Tuesday, 10:00am-12:00pm
Dates: 01/14/25-02/25/24, 7 Weeks

​Description: Unlock your creativity and explore the world of watercolor painting in this hands-on floral design class! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will guide you through the process of creating beautiful, vibrant floral compositions using watercolor techniques. Master the basics of watercolor painting, including brush techniques, color blending, and gradient washes. Paint a variety of flowers, from delicate petals to bold, expressive blooms, using step-by-step instructions. Experiment with texture, shadow, and light to bring depth and dimension to your designs.

Adult Intro to Watercolor

Description: ​Jump into the world of watercolor! Learn the basics of watercolors such as how to layer, blend, and flood. Delve into color theory and proportions by creating some fall inspired pieces.

This class is recommended for beginners.

Adult Ceramics

Description:
Designed for both, first-time and experienced students, this class offers instructions in different hand-building techniques, surface design,and sculpting as well as various ways of decorating pieces with under-glaze paints.
During the course, depending on the student’s familiarity with clay the instructor will teach how to advance from beginning ceramic ware to your own creative designs and/or abstract pieces.

Adult Landscape Pointillism

Unleash your inner artist and discover the beauty of pointillism in this hands-on adult art class, where you’ll explore the tranquil landscapes of nature using a variety of tools and techniques. In this immersive class, you’ll learn how to create vibrant, textured landscapes using markers, paint, fine-point pens, and brushes to build up layers of color and detail—one dot at a time.

Art of Paper

This is a 6 week course that will be discussing the history, creative process and techniques of creating art through paper.  We will create an intricate paper cut illustration, a paper cut diorama and a small paper mâché piece.

Adult Watercolor Pets

Mondays, 1:00pm-3:00pm

Dates: 10/28/24-11/18/24, 4 Weeks
Instructor: Billie Scalisi
Join instructor Billie Scalisi to learn how to create watercolor pet portraits. Students will progress through specific studies of dog features, learn proportion and how to capture the likeness of their subject matter.

Students will create smaller scaled watercolor studies during this 4 week course. Each week will focus on new techniques to advance their comfortability with using watercolor for portraiture. This class is open to beginners and intermediate students.

Assorted Watercolor Christmas Cards and Tags

Perfect for all skill levels, this class will help you craft beautiful, personalized holiday cards and tags with watercolors, making your season bright and memorable. Intro Stippling and Illustration II

Join us for an enriching class in stippling and illustration designed specifically for those looking to explore the art of pen-and-ink techniques. In this course, participants will delve into the meticulous world of stippling, a method where images are created using dots of varying sizes and densities. ​You will learn about the basics of stippling in illustration work such as different type of dots and their effects on shading and texture, composition, design, depth, texture, and precision. This class welcomes all levels of experience.
