A Curated Life: Selections from the Collection of Andy Moran and The Maker’s Muse: Contemporary Photography from the Artists of the American Society of Photographers

September 20, 2025 - January 10, 2026

The Fall exhibition at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will feature 50 pieces from Andy Moran’s private collection, including work by Dr. John Biggers, Kermit Oliver, Joseph A. Moran, Carroll Simms, Edsel Cramer, Julian Joseph Kyle, Linda Hinojos, and Earlie Hudnall, Jr.

The Maker’s Muse: Contemporary Art from the Artists of the American Society of Photographers is a traveling exhibit featuring 60 images by members of the organization from across the country. From landscapes to portraits and everything in between, visitors will find beauty and inspiration in every image.

Art Unleashed: Creativity You Can Feel

This family-friendly, touchable art exhibition was curated by staff of the Pearl and includes iconic masterpieces as bronze reliefs, created by Dallas-based artist Tomas Bustos; the “Holdables” collection of soft sculptures by Stephanie Metz of California; “In a Dish,” by Sam Lao of Dallas; fun textured paintings by Baltimore artist Rosy Sunshine Galvan; bronze sculptures from Found Fine Art in Bastrop, Texas, and more!

The Realm of Smaller Things

May 31, 2025 - August 30, 2026

In the Cole Gallery this summer, the Pearl is delighted to feature “The Realm of Smaller Things: A Storybook Adventure by Kent Knowles.” Based on his book by the same name, figurative artist and author Kent Knowles has transformed the gallery into a magical space where visitors can imagine themselves in a BIG forest with a TINY friend.
