Spring 2013 Class Schedule
Inspired by the work of Memphis Yin on display in the Hillery Community Gallery, teens will paint use bold, expressionistic strokes of color to paint an Aspen Tree.
During this class, teens will cast their own hands in plaster. Artist Katherine Taylor sculpted her own foot, which is an important component of her work on display in Mesmerize.
Inspired by the dynamic patterns of artist Merrie Wright, the students will paint their hand casts.
Using a glass as a foundation, teens will create fanciful appendages with Fimo clay inspired by the altered cups and plates of Tsehai Johnson.
